An alumnus of IIT Madras with a B.Tech in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering and an M.Tech in Welding Engineering, Ramesh Rao Nidambur brings nearly five decades of global experience in advanced welding, brazing and automation-led manufacturing to KHV Nova’s Advisory Board.

His career spans the development and qualification of high-integrity joining procedures, automation-driven production systems, and the optimisation of design, material selection, distortion control and field installation for critical components. He has held key technical and leadership roles at TELCO, Larsen & Toubro and GR Engineering Works, and currently leads PR Enterprises (founded 1984) and Syn-Ergo Machines Pvt. Ltd. (founded 1996).

Ramesh has advised a wide range of heavy engineering and industrial manufacturers on customised welding solutions, procedure certification and robotic/automated welding integration. He has contributed to innovations in advanced manufacturing, including patents in 3D printing and related processes. At KHV Nova, he supports clients on technology roadmaps, de-risking complex fabrication programmes and building globally competitive, future-ready manufacturing capabilities.
